POLAND, officially the Republic of Poland, is a country located in Central Europe. If you are a non-EU citizen and wish to work in Poland, you will need a work permit to enter the country. The validity of a work permit is for three years. The work permit is valid for only one job, and you can use it to perform only those tasks mentioned in your application form. If you are changing careers, you must apply for a new work permit.
If you find employment based on an employment contract or civil law contract with an employer with an office registered in Poland. This is the most famous work permit.
This work permit is valid if you are a board member residing in Poland for a total period exceeding six months within 12 subsequent months.
You can apply for this work permit if you are sent to Poland by a foreign employer for more than 30 days in a calendar year to work for the foreign employer 's subsidiary or branch office.
You are eligible for this visa if a foreign employer temporarily sends you to work in export services. The foreign employer must not have a branch or subsidiary in Poland.
You can apply for this visa if you take up work-related tasks that do not fall into the above four categories.
For individuals planning to stay in Poland for more than 90 days, a temporary residence permit is required. Upon Arrival your employer will proceed for your TRC in this period of time. This permit is granted for a maximum of 3 years. It necessitates the submission of relevant documents, including passport-sized photos, a valid passport, a work permit or employer's written statement, proof of health insurance, and financial stability.
Family members of temporary residents (those who receive the TRC) can join them in Poland by submitting the required documents, including photographs, copies of valid travel documents, proof of residence, relationship documents (marriage/birth certificates), health insurance, and financial stability proof.
Foreigners with significant economic and social ties to Poland can consider applying for a permanent residence permit. The permit is issued indefinitely, but the residence card should be renewed every 10 years. Holders of this permit can travel visa - free to other Schengen countries for up to 90 days within 180 days.
